Accompanying the recently started liberalization process of the energy sector in Uruguay, the firm has played an active role providing advice to potential clients in a variety of energetic projects such as the exploration and production of oil and gas in the River Plate basin, the installation and operation of a LNG Regasification Plant, the bidding procedures for the construction of wind energy parks, and the construction of a thermal power station.

In turn, in recognition of its support to this industry and its implication in this ongoing liberalization process, the firm has been appointed regular counsel to the Uruguayan Chamber of Private Generators of Electrical Energy, an association that includes all actors of the new energy spectrum (wind, solar, biomass).
