She graduated as Attorney from the University of the Republic, Uruguay, in 2004, and obtained a Master’s degree in Law and Tax Techniques from the University of Montevideo in 2010.

She has extensive experience advising local and multinational companies on tax, litigation, and labor matters. She counseled and represented large companies such as Banco Santander, McDonald’s, and Grupo Marfrig, among others, in compliance with regulations and in lawsuits promoted by workers.

She obtained favorable court rulings representing ABN AMRO Bank and Banco Santander that promoted lawsuits on contractual liabilities. She also attained favorable decisions from the Administrative Contentious Court and the Tax Bureau (DGI) representing Kraft (Mondelez) that had filed claims for tax repayment. She advised on labor due diligence in several corporate transfers and/or acquisitions in 2011.

  • 2010 – 2013 – Advising large companies, namely Banco Santader, McDonald’s, Grupo Marfrig, among others, on labor contracts, wage policies, working environment conditions and labor safety. Representing companies in collective bargaining with trade unions and in labor lawsuits promoted by workers as well as counseling and representing clients before various government agencies. Carried out labor due diligence in corporate transfers and/or acquisitions
  • 2004 – 2010 – Favorable court decisions on lawsuits assisting and representing ABN AMRO and Banco Santander on contractual and extra-contractual liabilities. Representing both banks in foreclosures. Representing groups of investors that promoted lawsuits against the National Farm Settlement Institute (INC) before the Administrative Contentious Court (TCA). Acting in representation of Kraft (Mondelez) in claims for tax repayment against the Tax Bureau (DGI) and the TCA
