On February 8, 2012, the Uruguayan Chamber of Commerce and Services (CNCS, after its acronym in Spanish) organized a simposium in relation to a legislative proposal which is prodded by OECD's pressure to identify the beneficial owners of Uruguayan corporations with bearer shares. Five legal and accountancy specialists from the main professional firms were invited to lecture at said event, among which was senior partner Fernando Jimenez de Arechaga.
