Ximena Alegre joined the firm in 2011 as Marketing and Business Development officer.

Graduated from the Catholic University of Uruguay as Doctor in Law in the year 2003, she obtained in the year 2009 a Masters Degree in Management of Law Firms imparted jointly by the Superior Institute of Law and Economics and the Barcelona Bar.

Between the years 2003 and 2008 she worked as an associate for two local law firms. After her masters degree she specialized exclusively in marketing and business development for law firms. Before joining Jimenez de Arechaga, she served as the marketing officer for another local law firm.

In Jimenez de Arechaga she is in charge of coordinating three strategic plans for the law firm: (a) Marketing Plan (brand building, external and internal communications, relationship with the media and with international specialized publications such as Chambers, IFLR and LatinLawyer, inter alia); (b) Sales Plan (prospecting and networking); and (c) Operational Plan (management and human resources).

In the year 2009 she was the media, advertising and marketing representative in Barcelona for the "Grupo Difusion", specifically in the editorial "Difusion Juridica" which publishes the journal "Economist & Jurist". She also served in the same capacity for the editorial label "Letras Difusion".

She is profficient in English and native speaker in Spanish.
